Praise and Worship

Hebrews 13:15

"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifices of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

Psalm 149:5-9

"Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon thier beds. v5 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; v6 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; v7 To bind thier kings with chans, and their nobles with fetters of iron; v8 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. v9"

Throughout the Psalms, and the whole bible really, you can see that whenever a person was in trouble, being pursued or afflicted, that the way they were delivered was praising God. Jesus never stopped praising God while he was in Hell and he was delivered out of it. Through the death, burial, and resurrection Jesus was a replacement for us and he obeyed the Father fully, including praising him. If you are in trouble, being persued or afflicted, or are in a situation that there is no apparent way out of, Praise God. Praise him believing, and he deliver you according to his will. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). It worked for David in the Psalms, it worked for Jesus, it worked for Paul and Silas in prison, I can honestly and boldly say that is working in my life, and it will work for you, if your repent and believe the Gospel.
